About the event
In the summer, the world around us becomes enriched with the energy of the sun. Come and deeply experienc this transition with Nance Klehm, soil ecologist and professional forager, who is leading an experiential walk at Montrose Beach Bird Sanctuary to help people connect with and participate in the enriched world. The group will learn about local edible and medicinal plants, soil health, and more! The walk will begin at the bike lock area between the marina and the bird sancutary. Nance Klehm has been running urban plant walks for more than 20 years and has deep experience with botany and ecology. To learn more about Nance and her work, check out socialecologies.net.
Following the event, artist and Indo-tibetan meditation teacher, Lindsey Dorr-Niro, will lead a short meditation workshop continuing the theme of enrichment.
Rain or shine! We will be there unless there is severely inclement weather.
